    Description :

    We are looking for a Staff AI Engineer who is capable of handling oneself in a technically diverse and demanding atmosphere.


    You will be responsible for executing technical projects that cut across Computer Vision (CV), Deep Learning (DL), Software Engineering, and build resilient and well engineered software to address various product needs.


    You will work on software systems for both R&D and Delivery-oriented projects with a long-term view of integrating the new technologies with existing products, and innovating on new products including aspects of Natural Language Processing and Generative AI if required.

    You will be expected to write efficient and well-documented software, and to also mentor team members on its usage and tooling.


    You will have to coordinate with various other internal stakeholders on diverse projects - to develop, troubleshoot and most importantly - innovate.

    You will be a technical champion, leading the design, development, and deployment of robust software tools designed using AI (CV/DL/NLP/GenAI).

    Responsibilities :

    Research, develop, benchmark, test and document software in AI, primarily focused on Computer Vision and Deep Learning; with some experience in broader Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI

    • Contribute to design reviews and discussions across R&D and Operations teams
    • Consider next generation algorithms and new business opportunities
    • Good articulation of your thoughts and the ability to write technical documentation and blog posts
    • To be able to contribute back to opensource libraries and integrate with their testing mechanisms when required
    • Work collaboratively with a talented team of AI engineers on a daily basis, and mentor and nurture peers
    and colleagues.

    • Years of experience : 2+ industry years minimum; 3+ years recommended
    • Solid understanding and demonstrated ability in EndtoEnd Computer Vision and Machine Learning
    projects starting from ideation to implementation and finally deployment.

    • Strong programming, debugging and design skills
    • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
    • Very proficient in Python, Docker, Command Line, Orchestration and Cloud frameworks
    • Must have an indepth understanding of Python and bit of insight into how the language is interpreted
    • Must have experience working with Python debuggers
    • Must have experience in both traditional DL libraries (Keras/Pytorch/TF) as well as hardware specific

    frameworks (Ex :
    TLT, Deepstream)


    • Should have strong Open-Source contributions
    • Should have worked on projects involving both conventional CV and Deep Learning
    Preferred :


    • Strong Knowledge of Systems Design and Engineering
    • Experience in microservices and serverless
    • Experience in developing for AWS, GCP or Azure
    • Experience with datastores such as : MySQL/Postgresql, Redis, Mongo, ElasticSearch, Microservices and REST APIs
    • Experience in Monitoring and Observability
    • Understanding of conventional CV techniques (feature detection, SFM, etc), ML and DL
    • Proficiency in C++
    • Significant Contributions to large opensource repositories
    • Deployment experience in both edge and oncloud
    • Experience with both Windows and Linux shellbased development
