    SupplierQuality AssuranceEngineer

    (basedinBengaluru)

    Organization:The Supplier QualityAssurance Engineer will play a crucial role in sourcing validatingand qualifying vendors who provide subcomponents to ourheadquarters in Europe for manufacturing needs. This role involvesserving as the primary liaison between headquarters and suppliersin India to ensure quality timely delivery and adherence toagreements. Additionally this role requires overseeing logisticsreporting on orders and inventory and implementing qualityassurancemeasures.

    YourResponsibilities:

    VendorManagement:Identify potentialvendors/suppliers for subcomponents based on quality cost andcapability requirements. Conduct supplier assessments audits andqualifications to ensure compliance with company standardsaddressing any issues or discrepancies to ensure timelyresolution.Negotiate agreements andcontracts with vendors including quality specifications deliveryschedules and pricing terms. Conduct visits to vendor sites toinspect components and processes ensuring adherence to qualitystandards.

    QualityAssurance:Handle nonconformance caseswith suppliers and implement necessary actions. Negotiate costcompensation for deviations or complaints with concerned suppliers.Monitor measure and evaluate supplier development regarding qualitytargets.

    LogisticsManagement:Arrange freight anddispatches for components coordinating with logistics partners toensure timely delivery to headquarters. Manage customs clearanceprocesses and negotiate terms with customs authorities tofacilitate smooth import/export operations. Optimize logisticsprocesses to minimize costs and lead times while maintainingquality andreliability.

    SupplierRelations:Develop andmaintain business relations with suppliers towards the goal of zeroerrors.Act as a contact person forinternal production units regarding quality and environmentalmatters related to externalsuppliers.

    Reportingand Documentation:Generate and maintain reportson orders accounts receivable inventory levels and supplierperformance.Analyze data to identify trends risks and opportunitiesfor improvement in supplier quality and supply chainefficiency.



    Requirements

    • Diplomain Engineering or Supply Chain Management required; bachelor sdegreepreferred.
    • Minimum5 years of experience in manufacturing preferably automotiveindustry.
    • Experiencein quality assurance and control environmental and processmanagement.
    • Basicknowledge in auditing risk assessments process control productiontechnology purchasing regulations ISO and IATF standards FMEA PPAPwork.
    • Experiencein machining turning processes & surfacetreatments.
    • Familiaritywith Quality Management Systems (QMS) ISO standards and leanmanagement principlespreferred.
    • Exposureto working with international colleagues in a multinationalcorporation (MNC) isadvantageous.
    • Strongcommunication negotiation and problemsolvingskills.
    • Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a fastpacedenvironment with a focus on achievingresults.
