As the Control Manager in our
Commercial Banking Team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

**Job Responsibilities: - In partnership with stakeholders, you will evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks

  • Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
  • Perform ongoing analysis of program related data and develop adhoc reports as requested to support business/controlrelated programs and strategies
  • Assist with development of CORE process mapping and documentations through participation in endtoend process walkthroughs and deep dives with F&BM functions. Build and maintain knowledge of Finance and Business Management functional areas, operational changes, policies and procedures, Commercial Banking regulations/laws, and operational risk practices to implement necessary control activities
  • Assist in issue and action plan development, as well as gathering evidence and documenting appropriate support for issue closure
  • Provide assistance in the preparation and management of audit and 2 nd line reviews for F&BM functions and you will ensure that F&BM remains in alignment with Firmwide Commercial Banking CORE Standards or Procedures
  • Assist in the development of Finance and Business Management Control reporting and metrics package for senior leadership and participate in special projects, as assigned

Required Qualification, Skills and Capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree, with concentration in business (finance/accounting or related field preferred)
  • St rong work ethic and highest integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required and data analytics preferred using Excel, Access


  • Business knowledge

  • Understand business / knowledge of regulation surrounding business
  • Communication/presentation excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner
  • Process mapping experience a plus
