    Description

    As an SDET at CodeHall, you will bridge the gap between software development and quality assurance by designing, developing, and implementing automated tests and frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product managers to identify and address defects early in the development process, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
    • Develop a comprehensive test strategy and test plans that encompass various testing levels, including unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
    • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, harnesses, and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
    • Create and maintain test data and test environments to support automated testing efforts.
    • Ensure test automation solutions are robust, maintainable, and scalable.
    • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
    • Analyze test results and identify defects, working closely with developers to isolate, reproduce, and resolve issues.
    • Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality.
    • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable early feedback and rapid delivery of software changes.
    • Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure consistent test environments.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders.
    • Mentor and guide junior members of the testing team in best practices, test automation techniques, and coding standards.
    • Collaborate with software developers to influence design for testability and provide input on test-driven development practices.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
    • Proven experience in an SDET or similar role, with a strong background in software testing, test automation, and software development.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
    • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e. g., Cypress, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
    • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools.
    • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams.
