The Role Responsibilities

Job Summary


The GBS Product Owner / Project Manager will provide support to Risk and CFCC Change team in the Non-Financial Risk space to drive several initiatives.


In this function, the PO is responsible for defining the vision, Product backlog management, prioritizing needs, overseeing development stages, acting as primary liaison, evaluating product progress at each iteration, risk and conflict management, stakeholder management, budgeting, running the Governance forums and driving the end to end delivery of the project successfully.


  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/ Sprint Goals.
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
  • Keep abreast with Agile / Scrum best practices and new trends.
  • Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities.
  • Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner.
  • Follow our competitors and the industry.

  • Masters degree.
  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner.
  • Indepth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Creative thinker with a vision.
  • Attention to details.

Certification

  • CSPO or PMP certification, Risk trainings, Agile certification.
