    Description

    IDEALCANDIDATE WILLHAVE:

    Minimum 5 years of Handson experience in Air/Ocean freightforwardingbusiness

    Capability to conduct operations with Accuracy and great attentiontodetail

    Professional qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Managementshall be anadvantage.

    A total of Ten years experience of successfully managing amultifunctional operationsteam.

    Can do attitude with a think out of the box approach to solutiondesign.

    Proficiency in MS word and working knowledge of MSExcel

    Well organized methodical strong communicator at everylevel.

    Employs leadership to situations works productively with othersacross thebusiness

    Ability to lead a small but dynamicteam

    Ability to Effectively Communicate in writtenEnglish

    Top communication organizational & planningskills

    Teamwork good interpersonalskills

    Flexibility and ability to adapt to changingcircumstances

    Problemsolving ability particularly when working under pressure ofmeetingdeadlines

    MainResponsibilities:

    1.Be the key point of contact forthe clients and other agents across theglobe.

    2.Shall assist in troubleshooting and problem solving through tofruition.

    3.Shall be Responsible forfreightsales.

    4.Commercially focused alwayslooking to new client opportunities supporting Sales teams towardsachievingtargets.

    5.Lead operational running of thebranch prioritising underperforming areas and suggesting/ managingadjustments through tofruition.

    6.Develop and implement mediumterm branchimprovements.

    7.Plan prepare monthend reportsand monitor annual budget monthonmonth with theMD.

    8.Maintaining standards of Healthand Safety hygiene and security in the workenvironment.

    9.Monitor productivity KPIsanalyse performance with Operations department heads and reviewunder performance with operationsmanagers.

    10.Regular analysis and review ofCrucial KPIs for the business and proposal of improvements. Todevelop strategies and objectives to maximise customer serviceproductivity growth planning and cost control for theBranch.

    11.Manages staff by supportingwith recruiting selecting and training employees; maintaining asafe secure and legal work environment; developing personal growthopportunities by ensuring all your team members have an activePersonal Development Plan(PDP)

    12.Accomplishes staff results bycommunicating job expectations; planning monitoring and appraisingjob results; training coaching counselling and discipliningemployees whererequired.

    Delivering monthly billing data to the business ontime

    Maintain and comply with service levelagreements

    Budgetcompliance

    PDP completion for all employees and reviewannually

    Financial reporting to the DC Management Team. OtherDuties

    To apply promote and practice unit rules andregulations

    To apply promote and practice Health and Safety instructions andregulations

    To apply and promote all Statutory requirements asinstructed

    Undertake any other duty deemed reasonable by Seniormanagement

    To know understand promote and enhance all SOPs for thesite.
