- Responsible for developing & directing IT Projectmanagement operations and strategic planning to meet organizationsgoal with both customer & internal focus.
- Provide overall strategic governance for projects byestablishing standards processes and tools used for effectiveproject delivery.
- Set performance benchmarksfor various roles in the organization and put systems and processesin place to measure performance.
- Lead thebudgeting process for the organization and track spends to adherecompliance to approved budgets.
- Optimise costsincurred in the organization through continuous tracking andcontrol.
- Establish Methodologies to set productivity and qualitytargets and to assess results for all projects.
- Establish rigorous project management discipline andtracking of project execution across all major projects in theorganisation
- Establish program plans of allmajor initiatives in the organisation and tracking of performancerelative to plan to identify project health and establish earlyinterventions
- Respond to escalated projectissues that may impede project delivery and coordinatesolutions.
- Coordinate with various functionalheads to identify digital solutions and lead the creation of suchprograms.
- Coordinate teams with customertouchpoints (Cabin Crew Customer Experience Commercial) to develop programs aimed to solve customer issues andneeds.
- Monitor and analyze project metrics toidentify weakness or problems and propose operational improvementsand cost savings for future projects
- Provideonsite leadership for project teams by building and motivating teammembers to meet project goals adhering to their responsibilitiesand project milestones.
- Full projectlife cycle ownership : successfulproject delivery will include full implementation from initiationto deployment for one major or several minor initiativessimultaneously
- Report on project successcriteria results metrics test and deployment managementactivities.
- Manage the daytoday projectactivities and resources and chair the project management teammeetings.
- Participate in establishingpractices templates policies tools and partnerships to expand andmature these capabilities for the organization
- Understand the interdependencies between technologyoperations and business needs.
- Participateand/or drive feasibility studies vendor selections and proposalsfor evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
- Develop performance benchmarks for every role in theorganisation and develop systems and processes to evaluateperformance of organisation members
- Coordinating any major transitions within the companysuch as financial technological operational and governancechanges.
- Analyzing any internal requests forchanges and consulting with senior management to deny or approvethe proposed changes.
- Creating transitionalplans and documents to outline project expectations scope scheduleand budget requirements.
- Leading workshops toprovide staff members with information on any major changes in thecompany such as new financial protocols or policies
- Ensuring that transitions are planned and carried out ina timely manner and within budget.
- Keepingall parties involved with the transition updated on its progress.
- Spotting any transitionrelated issues andcreating effective solutions to resolve them swiftly
- Providing companywide guidance during unplanned changessuch as the passing of a senior employee
- Leadthe program management team and head collaboration between BusinessUsers and software providers to build project solutions.
- Bachelors Degree in CS/IT or equivalent work experience
- MBA in relevant field is preferred.
- Exposure to financial and costaccounting
- PMP or equivalent certificationpreferred
- 20 years of project management experiencegathering requirements from the client / business &documentation.
- At least 1015 years ofexperience in change management/IT Transformation
- 20 years of project management experience includingtracking and planning projects gathering requirements from theclient / business & documentation.
- Atleast 8 to 10 years of experience in change management/ITTransformation
