    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps Security Engineer to join our IT Security team our client at Experian. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud security, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions that enhance the protection of our data and systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement security measures for the protection of systems, networks, and information within our AWS environment.
    • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated security testing and deployment.
    • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
    • Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and log management solutions.
    • Stay updated with the latest security threats and trends, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
    • Participate in incident response activities, including forensic analysis and troubleshooting security issues.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
    • At least 6 years of experience in security engineering with a focus on AWS and DevSecOps practices.
    • Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.
    • Hands-on experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, log management, content filtering, etc.
    • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby) and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).
    • Excellent understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
    • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR) and cloud security architecture standards.
    • Certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or other relevant credentials are highly desirable.
