    Senior Network Engineer - SD-WAN Specialist


    Job Description:


    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN), particularly with knowledge and hands-on experience with Velocloud, Meraki, and Viptela technologies.

    The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in related networking technologies such as VMware NSX and F5 Load Balancers.

    As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and SD-WAN Implementation:
    Design, deploy, configure, and manage SD-WAN solutions based on Velocloud, Meraki, and Viptela platforms. Develop and implement SD-WAN policies and configurations to optimize network performance and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

    • Network Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN edge devices. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth network operations.
    • VMware NSX Integration: Integrate SD-WAN solutions with VMware NSX for seamless network virtualization and enhanced security. Configure and manage virtual networks, security policies, and microsegmentation to enforce network segmentation and access controls.
    • Load Balancer Configuration: Configure and manage F5 Load Balancers to distribute network traffic efficiently across servers and resources. Implement load balancing algorithms, SSL offloading, and health monitoring to ensure high availability and optimal performance of applications and services.
    • Network Security: Implement and enforce network security policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms to safeguard data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Monitor network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities, and respond promptly to security incidents.
    • Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and bandwidth utilization, and implement optimization strategies to improve network efficiency and responsiveness. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and congestion points to ensure optimal user experience.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures. Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance status to support decisionmaking and regulatory requirements.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on SD-WAN technologies.
    • Handson experience with Velocloud, Meraki, and Viptela SD-WAN solutions.
    • Proficiency in VMware NSX for network virtualization and microsegmentation.
    • Experience in configuring and managing F5 Load Balancers.
    • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
    • Solid knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
    • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with a customeroriented approach.
    • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, VMware VCP, or F5-CA are preferred.
