- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns to promote the organization's brand and objectives.
- Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, industry bodies, and media outlets to enhance the organization's reputation and visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as creative and digital marketing, to ensure alignment and integration of PR efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with senior management to develop internal communications programs and processes to support organizational change and employee engagement initiatives.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters and emailers on a bi-weekly basis to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Edit and update promotional materials and publications, including brochures, videos, and social media posts, to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify, plan, and coordinate conferences, webinars, and other events where the organization or spokesperson can represent, present, or participate.
- Organize PR events, such as open days and press conferences, and serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interactions.
- Write and produce presentations, articles, press releases, and social media posts to effectively communicate key messages and initiatives.
- Design or project manage the production of visual communications and digital content to support PR efforts.
- Attend and participate in promotional events, such as press conferences, exhibitions, summits, and visits, to represent the organization and build relationships.
- Seek out new promotional opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships to expand the organization's reach and impact.
- Analyze media coverage and provide insights and recommendations to enhance PR strategies and tactics.
- Commission or conduct relevant market research and data analysis to inform PR initiatives and decisions.
- Conceptualize ads and analyze the success of online advertising campaigns to optimize performance.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, budgets, and timelines, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Manager or similar PR role, demonstrating a track record of successful PR campaigns and initiatives.
- Deadline-oriented with excellent follow-up and reporting skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to remain calm and diffuse tense situations, particularly during crisis management scenarios.
- Exceptional prioritization and planning abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in digital media skills, including graphic design, video editing, and blog administration, to create compelling content and engage audiences effectively.
