Job Summary:

The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of workers and subcontractors at construction sites or manufacturing facilities.

They ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities:

Supervision: Direct and supervise workers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.

Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities to workers based on project requirements and timelines.

Quality Control: Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Safety: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all workers and subcontractors.

Material Management: Coordinate the delivery, storage, and use of materials and equipment to optimize resource utilization and minimize wastage.

Problem-solving: Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during the construction process, addressing any delays or disruptions promptly.

Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Training and Development: Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work activities, including daily logs, time sheets, and equipment maintenance records.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
Indepth knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.

Education and Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training preferred.
Certification in construction management or related field is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Salary:
₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
