Accounts Executive

Experience:

An Accounts Executive with over 5 years of experience is a key member of the finance and accounting team responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

This role involves a strong command of accounting software, including Tally and Zoho, as well as financial analysis and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Transactions:
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries, in a timely and accurate manner.


Bank Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that bank statements and financial records are aligned.


Accounts Payable:
Manage accounts payable processes, which include vendor bill verification, approval, and payment processing.


Accounts Receivable:
Monitor accounts receivable, send invoices to clients, and follow up on collections.


Expense Management:
Track and categorize business expenses, ensuring proper allocation to cost centers.


Payroll Processing:
Handle payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.


Tally and Zoho Expertise:
Utilize Tally and Zoho accounting software to maintain financial records, generate financial statements, and perform data analysis.


Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


Audit Support:
Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and reconciliations as required.


Compliance:
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards, keeping abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards.


Budgeting:
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, and track actual performance against budgeted figures.


Variance Analysis:
Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance.


Process Improvement:
Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Tally and Zoho accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and external parties.
  • Problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay:
₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
