    JobDescriptionSummary

    TheIT Network Engineer is responsible for the implementationadministration and support of ReleasePoint Networking Systems andSecurity. The ITNetwork Engineer will participate within the team to ensurenetworking systems are functioning to meet SLAs. The individualwill support not only Production and DR environments but alsoDevelopment systems and Development team staff in the delivery ofReleasePoint applications. The ideal candidate will have extensiveknowledge of Juniper switches and Palo Alto firewalls and be ableto design implement and maintain complex enterprise networksolutions.

    EssentialFunctions

    Designimplement and maintain complex enterprise network solutions usingJuniper switches and Palo Altofirewalls

    Configureand manage firewall policies VPNs and network securitysystems

    Monitornetwork performance and resolve any issues that arise in a timelyand efficientmanner

    Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve networkrelatedissues

    Maintainuptodate knowledge of industry developments andtechnologies

    Participatein the development and implementation of disaster recoveryplans

    Documentnetwork configurations anddesigns

    Provideapplication and development environment and teamsupport.

    Willbe required to resolve Production issues and troubleshootproblems.

    Willprovide on call and afterhours support responding to alerts andrequests forassistance.

    ProvidesSecurity monitoring and incident response ifneeded.

    ProfessionalRequirements

    Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield

    Minimumof 10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus onJuniper switches and Palo Altofirewalls

    Strongunderstanding of routing protocols such as OSPF andBGP

    Knowledgeof network security best practices and experience with networksecuritysystems

    Excellentanalytical and problemsolvingskills

    Strongwritten and verbal communicationskills

    Abilityto work independently and in a teamenvironment

    CCNPor JNCIS certification is aplus

    ITILexperience and processfamiliarity

    oIncident/ ProblemManagement

    oChangeManagement

    oRequestFulfillment
