Role & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new feature releases and enhancements and work closely with stakeholders to identify, discuss and implement any feature enhancements needed to meet business requirements
- Act as one of the primary points of contact for the Workday team managing communications with workday support, CMS & Stakeholders.
- Review and be alert of any system outages or service degradations.
- Maintain system security and integrity.
- Perform administrative functions, including business process configuration, tenant configuration, user maintenance, backups, reporting.
- Deliver high quality end user support and troubleshoot to resolve system issues.
- Complete functional testing and review any known issues to ensure business continuity.
- Support change management functions, including documenting system changes, producing training material and delivering training
- Mentor and coach others.
- Contribute to the Workday Community and user groups.
- Build standard and custom reports and dashboards that provide advanced analytics to key Business Units to identify trends and assist with business strategies.
Requirements:
- 14 years of experience in a systems administrator role, preferably with Workday Finance.
- Functional knowledge of business processes within most workstreams of Finance.
- Ability to prioritize workload, work independently and part of a team.
- Strong Analytical skills and a strong proficiency with spreadsheets and various reporting aspects.
- Excellent communications skills
- with the ability to engage with business leaders, end users and fellow team members.
- Desire and readiness to learn new tools, methods and concepts.
- Prior experience using Workday and Workday Communities.
- Previous experience participating in Workday discovery and design sessions would be an asset.
