Role & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new feature releases and enhancements and work closely with stakeholders to identify, discuss and implement any feature enhancements needed to meet business requirements
  • Act as one of the primary points of contact for the Workday team managing communications with workday support, CMS & Stakeholders.
  • Review and be alert of any system outages or service degradations.
  • Maintain system security and integrity.
  • Perform administrative functions, including business process configuration, tenant configuration, user maintenance, backups, reporting.
  • Deliver high quality end user support and troubleshoot to resolve system issues.
  • Complete functional testing and review any known issues to ensure business continuity.
  • Support change management functions, including documenting system changes, producing training material and delivering training
  • Mentor and coach others.
  • Contribute to the Workday Community and user groups.
  • Build standard and custom reports and dashboards that provide advanced analytics to key Business Units to identify trends and assist with business strategies.

Requirements:


  • 14 years of experience in a systems administrator role, preferably with Workday Finance.
  • Functional knowledge of business processes within most workstreams of Finance.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, work independently and part of a team.
  • Strong Analytical skills and a strong proficiency with spreadsheets and various reporting aspects.
  • Excellent communications skills

- with the ability to engage with business leaders, end users and fellow team members.

  • Desire and readiness to learn new tools, methods and concepts.
  • Prior experience using Workday and Workday Communities.
  • Previous experience participating in Workday discovery and design sessions would be an asset.
  • Keen attention to detail.
