Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team.

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing information on drug interactions and side effects, counseling patients on proper medication use, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Your expertise in pharmaceuticals, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care will be essential in this role.


Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.

Provide consultation to patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing pharmacy practice.

Maintain accurate and complete records of all medications dispensed and patient interactions.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement medication therapy management plans.

Monitor patients' medication regimens for efficacy and safety.

Oversee pharmacy inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and proper storage of medications.

Conduct medication reconciliation and review to identify and prevent medication errors.

Educate patients on proper medication administration techniques and potential drug interactions.

Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on developments in pharmaceuticals and pharmacy practice.


Requirements:

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid state pharmacist license in good standing.

Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy, and pharmaceutical calculations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and documentation.

Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer proficiency.

Willingness to adhere to ethical and professional standards of pharmacy practice.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail or clinical setting.

Board certification in a specialized area of pharmacy practice (e.g., ambulatory care, geriatrics, pharmacotherapy).

Experience with compounding medications.
