Description

The Compliance Assistant Vice President (Compliance AVP) will work within the Global Compliance Program Office and will be responsible for managing Compliance training efforts globally.

This role will also assist with other core elements of the Compliance Program, including reporting, metrics, and horizon risk.

The Compliance AVP will be responsible for:

  • Assist with the prioritization of the Compliance Annual Training Calendar, and lead the annual Compliance learning needs analysis
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and training content owners to provide updated training course content to the Moody's University Team, including assisting with drafting course content and designing curricula
  • Serve as a liaison for all Compliancerelated tasks with the Moody's University team
  • Work with the Moody's University team to ensure the Compliance training inventory remains current
  • Work with the Compliance Policies and Communications team to understand when policy/procedure changes lead to new training requirements and updates
  • Run Past-Due reports in the Cornerstone On Demand Learning Management System (LMS), and conduct delinquent training inquiries and disposition
  • Coordinate review and signoff of audience list for all Compliancerelated training
  • Review and signoff on trainingrelated templates and communications
  • Participate in testing of Compliance training courses and curricula
  • Develop operating procedures for key processes following best practice models
  • Prepare reports and other information in response to internal and regulatory requests
  • Maintain the Global Compliance Obligations tracker, which tracks ongoing Compliance commitments, and report on upcoming deliverables ahead of deadlines
  • Assist with risk assessment efforts including the quarterly horizon risk review, annual risk assessment, and ongoing compliance metrics review
  • Assist with ongoing reporting efforts, including maintaining reporting inventory
  • Maintain records related to Program Office responses to regulatory filings and ensure consistency in approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of the Cornerstone On Demand Learning Management System for deploying and tracking online, SCORM compliant training, materials and instructorled events/sessions
  • Degree preferred in related field
  • Ability to manage tasks to meet project deliverables on time and error free
  • Ability to analyze current processes and workflows and make substantive suggestions for improvement
  • Expert in the Office suite, particularly Excel (charts, graphs, VLookUps, etc.), Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access, SharePoint, and Power BI and Automate a plus
