Role:
Account Executive
Kindly note that this will be a Work form Office Opportunity
Working Days: 6 days working (Monday to Saturday)
Responsibilities:
- Review and process incoming vendor invoices, ensuring that they are accurate, approved, and properly coded in the accounting system.
- Prepare and process payment batches, including checks, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and wire transfers, while ensuring adherence to payment terms and company policies.
- Handle employee expense reimbursements, verifying the validity of expenses, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payment receipts, and other supporting documents.
- Regularly reconcile accounts payable balances to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or outstanding items.
- Monitor and manage the aging of payables to identify any overdue payments and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Provide relevant financial reports related to accounts payable, such as outstanding payables, cash flow projections, and other analyses as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant legal and tax regulations pertaining to accounts payable processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and streamlining of accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, finance, and treasury, to facilitate smooth endtoend payment processes and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Handle and resolve any payment disputes with vendors or suppliers, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining positive relationships
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in Finance / Accounting
- Relevant experience in Accounts Payable role
- Proficient in excel and reporting
- Preferred experience in Zoho books / Netsuite (Oracle)
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to approach each issue with an analytical mindset to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Previous experience working in a fastpaced, growing company.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
