Role

Application Developer
Backend PHP
With 6 to 10 Yrs of Experience

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Development team in completing projects
Composing backend code and building effective PHP modules
Troubleshoot and fix any issues relating to PHP programs
Ensure smooth operations of web processes and infrastructure
Create scripts to facilitate client systems to meet performance and objectives
Create documentation for software created
Utilize source debuggers and write or modify client software
Produce results effectively and within the deadlines set

Required Skills:

6 to 10 years of experience in maintenance and support, development, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment in the PHP Development with Laravel Framework
Flexible to work in shifts (India daytime and/or US daytime) and On Call Support on a rostered rotational basis.
Basic understanding of frontend technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
Familiarity with SQL/No SQL databases
Proven experience as a PHP developer in a competitive environment
Knowledge of PHP web frameworks like any of Laravel, Yii, and Codelgniter
Proficient with code versioning tools which include Mercurial, CVS, Git and SVN
Good understanding of website integration and software creation
Passionate for design and coding practices and desire to develop new ideas
Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
Able to follow clear instructions according to client demands
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Creative ability to produce effective solutions to client problems
Understanding of DevOps model
Worked in Iterative, Agile Scrum methodology and feature driven development environments, participating in Sprint planning/review/retrospective meetings
Attention to detail
Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
Education in Information Technology or equivalent working experience
