Structured hybrid role:
Introduction

  • Oversee & support the redesign and restructure of the current seniorlevel business reports
  • Oversee & support the ongoing BAU delivery of seniorlevel company reporting
  • Oversee & support the gathering of requirements, identification of data gaps, and aid in the creation of new/modified report templates and build reporting solutions
  • Manage the amendment and development of company reporting
  • Manage the integrity of the Company MI Reporting, ensuring that problems are speedily resolved, and suitable control mechanisms are implemented to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide ongoing support to other reporting teams throughout the business. Take part in or lead adhoc projects
  • Work with senior managers, business partners and other unit leaders to address reporting shortfalls and concerns ensuring that work is carried out in a logical & time/cost efficient manner.
What will you be doing?

  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting data and drawing meaningful insights.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Understanding statistical methods and tools for data analysis is crucial.
  • Management: Proficiency in SQL or other database querying languages for extracting and processing large volume of data.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to create clear and insightful visual representations of data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
  • Reporting: Experience in generating regular reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to solve business problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in data analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information to various stakeholders effectively.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the industry or sector in which the company operates can provide context for data analysis and interpretation, preferably KYC knowledge
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, including business analysts, and managers. Database
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in data analysis and business intelligence

What we're looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proven ability in data report definition, design, and development to optimise for speed of comprehension.
  • Excellent experience of developing and implementing strategic reports in a diverse organisation
  • Experience in delivering automated reporting solutions and analytics dashboards to track business metrics
  • Experience running insight teams delivering strategic insights to senior leadership
  • A proven track record of processing large amounts of data
  • Experience translating business strategy into data and tracking metrics
  • You will have the ability to work collaboratively and constructively with senior colleagues within the Finance Team and across the wider business
Minimum Education qualification

  • Undergraduate (UG)

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Time management skills: must manage workloads effectively to complete complex and high-priority tasks within target timescales.
  • Experience and knowledge of the best in class data modelling techniques
  • High degree of commercial & operational awareness of data
  • A robust, uptodate knowledge and experience of technology and methods in the data space
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders and extract relevant requirements from them
  • Robust, previous experience as a MI & Reporting Manager, having previously led an MI/BI and Reporting team
  • Proven experience in managing a specialist MI team responsible for delivering and developing MI within a complex organisation.
  • The ability and confidence to distil and communicate complex matters in simple terms at all levels of the business
  • A good understanding of digital marketing channels & tracking thereof
