JOB DESCRIPTION

Assistant Manager - Ground Support Equipment

MAINTENANCE OF EQUIPMENT.
To ensure that all daily & scheduled checks are conducted & recorded.
To carry out services of all equipment as and when due.
To attend the breakdown of equipment & put them in serviceable condition at the earliest.
Intimate the breakdown to the concerned, coordinate with manufacturers for major break downs and warranty claims etc.
To maintain the History cards for all equipment.
To generate & circulate the maintenance related MIS of assigned station.
Identify the spare parts required and maintain the inventory level in the store. Manage the store for spare parts and transportation of spares to different locations whenever required.
To conduct training of operators/technicians.
To coordinate with concerned for Duty Roistering of technicians & to maintain proper discipline amongst the team.
To ensure optimum use of all kind of resources & keep a check to stop misuse of resources & equipment.
To ensure proper cleaning & upkeep of all equipment.
Manage, control & check the fuel, consumables & spare parts consumption and record keeping for the same for assigned station.
To liase with competent authorities for seeking approvals, permits, ADP's, passes, insurances, registration & fitness of vehicles etc.
