    Description

    We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Snowflake Datawarehouse Infrastructure Manager.


    Responsibilities:


    • Manage Snowflake Datawarehouse infrastructure including provisioning and scaling resources, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.
    • Handle user access, install DBT, apply updates, and manage dependencies.
    • Optimize DBT performance by monitoring job execution, identifying bottlenecks, and making necessary configurations.
    • Set up monitoring tools to track job status, resource usage, and system health.
    • Deploy DBT models to different environments and ensure reliable operation.
    • Monitor job execution for errors, implement error handling, and retry mechanisms.
    • Establish notifications and alerts for relevant parties regarding job statuses and issues.
    • Schedule DBT jobs to ensure models are executed at appropriate times and frequencies.
    • Optimize job scheduling to balance resource usage and minimize execution times.
    • Manage GIT version control to track changes in DBT.

    Requirements:


    • 6-8 years of database administrator experience with 2-3 years of Snowflake administrator experience.
    • Minimum 1 year of DBT administrator experience.
    • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
    • AWS experience with Athena and S3 for data pipeline connectivity.
    • Additional Snowflake and DBT administrator experience is a plus.
