Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and create new menus
  • Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist in inventory control and ordering supplies
  • Monitor food quality and consistency
  • Support in training kitchen employees

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in culinary arts and food service management
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in inventory control and cost management
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and food production
