    Job Description :
    We are seeking a skilled Data Security Specialist with expertise in implementing and maintaining data security solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Varonis, Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management, Data Classification, and Retention Labeling.

    As a Data Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data and mitigating risks across both on-premises and cloud environments.


    Key Responsibilities :

    • Implement and manage Varonis solutions for data governance, access control, and auditing in both onpremises and cloud environments.
    • Configure and administer Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to prevent unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information.
    • Utilize Microsoft Insider Risk Management tools to identify and mitigate insider threats and suspicious activities.
    • Implement data classification policies and labels using Microsoft Data Classification capabilities to ensure proper handling and protection of sensitive data.
    • Define and enforce data retention policies using Microsoft Retention Labeling to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Monitor and analyze data security incidents, investigate security breaches, and take appropriate remediation actions.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including IT, Legal, Compliance, and Business Units, to develop and enforce data security policies and procedures.
    • Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in data security, and recommend enhancements to security controls and procedures.

    Required Skills and Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in Data Security, with a focus on Varonis and Microsoft security solutions.
    • Proficiency in deploying and managing Varonis solutions in both onpremises and cloud environments.
    • Handson experience with Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management, Data Classification, and Retention Labeling.
    • Strong understanding of data security principles, standards, and best practices.
    • Experience with data governance, access control, and auditing mechanisms.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Relevant certifications such as Varonis Certified Administrator (VCA), Microsoft Certified : Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or similar certifications are a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    • Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or government, with knowledge of industryspecific compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS).
    • Familiarity with other data security technologies and tools, such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions from other vendors.
    • Experience with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP).
    • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) for automation and customization of security solutions.
