Our Team

A great opportunity to interact & work alongside highly experienced Project Engineers, Material Science and Product Stewardship team which gives the skills and experience required to manage Master Data activities for global plants and BUs as per the SOPs defined.

What You Will Do

Primarily responsible for creation of Material Master for different material types in SAP
Read and analyze NX CAD drawings/models and load Engineering/Universal Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP
Work closely with plants and ensure completion of MM, BOM & Compliance activities in SAP
Interact significantly with fellow Data Stewards, Industrial Engineers, stakeholders across Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Finance.
SME who owns cross functional data requirements to support business capabilities.
Planning, prioritizing, solving problems, reporting progress, executing project objectives & meeting deadlines
Monitoring the Quality and delivery of outputs and implementing corrections to the processes if necessary.
Auditing the parts in SAP for the completeness of material status and Product compliance documents
Mass load data into SAP using LSMW, Batch processing, VBA/Macros etc.
This individual will work under mínimal supervision ensuring completion of Material master, BOM & Compliance checks for a material

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/ Industrial/ Chemical/Electrical/Electronics & Communication or similar domains)
13 years Industrial knowledge in any large or medium scale manufacturing organization experienced in Materials Management, Production Planning in SAP functions are preferred.
Knowledge on Teamcenter PLM software will be an advantage.
Good product knowledge (Mechanical & Electrical properties)
Exposure to routing, work center, costing of a product in SAP Production Planning module.
Basic Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance Regulations (REACH or RoHS directives) and different Chemical compositions
Set up work instructions, Process flows and SOPs as required to improvise the processes.
Ability to mass upload data in SAP using LSMW, Batch processing, Quadrate or other similar tools
Proficiency in MS-Office Applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint site, PowerBI, PowerApps etc.
VBA/ Macro scripts will be an added advantage.
Python Scripting knowledge with NumPy and Pandas libraries will be a double advantage.
Good and effective technical communication & interaction skills.
Ability to grasp the concepts quickly and work with mínimal supervisor intervention.
Ability to think in alternative ways to improvise and complete any given task with high accuracy
Develop alternative ways to increase Molex capabilities, reduce costs and leverage corporate skills.
