Job Title - Technology Lead, AVP**
Location - Pune, India

Role Description


The Technology Lead is responsible for day-to-day leadership of team work efforts in their professional area and/or serves as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing support as needed.

In some circumstances, the lead may also be responsible for building and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders (internal and/or external), particularly around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

The lead plays a key role in facilitating communication between functional teams to share knowledge and good practice, and to foster a focus on process, performance and efficiency.

The Technology Lead also ensures that the operational processes are aligned to the organisational objectives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide level 2 web hosting platform operational support.
  • Understand support process (as per ITIL) and escalation procedures, become fully conversant with all support tools that will be used to provide effective support.
  • Application Tuning and troubleshooting
  • Need to resolve Incidents and Service requests
  • Will need to participate in Incident management/Problem management process in person and follow escalation processes along with sending notification to clients periodically.
  • Conduct postmortems of incidents and drive relevant feedback into Incident, Problem and Change management programs
  • Creation of knowledge documentation

Your skills and experience

  • 10+ years working experience in Apace based Web hosting support and administration.
  • 5+ years working experience in financial institution in providing IT support and dealing with business users on support or requirement gathering
  • Getting things done in large organizations understanding of where to use processes and how to build and operate a network
  • Work across countries, regions, and time zones with a broad range of cultures and technical capability
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a nontechnical audience and with executive levels. Relationship management skills
  • Experience working with virtual and global teams / Intercultural awareness
  • Ability to prioritize own work
  • End to end ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Expert in Apache Administration
  • Strong UNIX, Linux, Wintel
  • Good knowledge of Shell scripting and Ansible
  • Experience working in clustered environment.
  • Knowledge of ModSecurity WAF
  • Experience of Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana
  • Experience in ticketing tool like Snow, JIRA
