    The Position

    Join us as a Principal Product Intelligence Specialist, where you'll have a crucial role in utilizing Microsoft's BI tools to analyze and visualize Aspen's business data. You'll collaborate closely with senior colleagues, getting hands-on experience in turning data into valuable insights that guide decision-making for internal and external stakeholders.

    Your Contribution

    • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business users to grasp data and reporting requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications for BI solutions.
    • Data Modeling Support: Assist in creating data models, warehouses, and ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics, DataWarehouse, and related tools.
    • Report and Dashboard Support: Help in developing interactive reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI. Contribute to creating effective data visualizations for end-user insights.
    • ETL Support: Aid in building ETL processes with tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration.
    • Performance Tuning Assistance: Support in improving query and system performance for efficient BI solutions.
    • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and end-users, for successful BI implementation.
    • Training and Support: Assist in training users on BI tool usage and understanding reports/dashboards.
    • Keep Informed: Stay updated on the latest Microsoft BI technologies, contributing ideas for enhancements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    • Interest or basic experience in designing and implementing BI solutions using Microsoft technologies.
    • Familiarity with SQL Server, Power BI, and other Microsoft BI tools is beneficial.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration capabilities.
    • Preferably Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
    • Preferably Microsoft Certified: Power BI Developer.
