Description

This position is within the Data Analytics team of the practice and will collaborate closely with other technology and business teams to establish data solutions for analysis, modeling, designing, and go to market initiatives.

You will be required to demonstrate experience and credibility with Product Management, BI / Analytics, Software and Data teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the design and development of cloudbased data systems
Provide architectural leadership for technology solutions, analytics, data architectures, data warehouse, cloud and infrastructure initiatives
Design and develop high volume data ingestion components and ETL solutions to collect data from various internal and external sources
Recommend data governance processes, security standards, and models that will provide architectural guidelines to support the development initiatives
Ensures data quality and controls are in place to support of various data ingestion inflows and outflows processes
Manage and use tools in the cloud data warehouse development and deployment such as ETL tools, data quality and cleansing tools, query/reporting tools, OLAP, data mining, etc.
Manage and optimize cloudbased systems used for existing projects
Drive decisionmaking processes to align with business priorities and objectives related to key architecture solutions
Research emerging technology trends, new models, vendor solutions and market opportunities to identify potential industry disruptors that could help the organization dominate their position in the market
Responsible for developing/implementing cloud infrastructure to support current and future business needs

Key Competencies / Skills / Qualifications

Significant experience with Data Warehouse technologies and complex data architecture and models, with increasing exposure to Cloud based data DWH implementation
Working knowledge of designing architectures for large volume real time data streams and component services
Knowledge of and experience with the following:
Database Technologies: SQL Server, Postgres, Hive

Azure Technologies

SQL DB, Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, Databricks, Event Hub, Functions

ETL

SSIS, Alteryx

Data Visualization

Power BI, M-Query & DAX

Programming Skills

C#, , VBA, R, Python
Appreciation for Data Visualization and how the backend Data Warehouse can help render the required visualization in the best possible way
Experience with scaling and improving a variety of vendor and opensource technologies
Experienced in Agile, Lean, Continuous Delivery
Good communications skills with the ability to interact with development and infrastructure teams, business and vendors including the training and mentoring of team members.
A proven track record for the successful delivery of cloud data warehouse solutions and related components
Must be a tenacious problem solver able to handle work complexity, delivery deadlines, client demands and make routine decisions as well
Good understanding of faulttolerant architectures and high availability systems
Ability to address nonfunctional requirements such as Reliability, Performance and Scalability

Qualifications/Certification

Science or Engineering degree, Computer Science or Math / Statistics background highly desired
15+ years of relevant experience in managing enterprise class technical delivery of products, solutions, and software
Cloud Architect certification
At least 10 years of playing (internal and external) customer facing roles, managing diverse stakeholders, and managing expectations in a matrix organization
