Description
Responsibilities:

Teaching: Design and deliver lesson plans that cover various topics in physics according to curriculum standards. This includes explaining complex theories and principles in a clear and understandable manner.

Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and order in the classroom to create a conducive learning environment. Manage student behavior effectively and enforce school policies as needed.

Assessment: Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other forms of assessment. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding of physics concepts.

Curriculum Development: Develop or adapt curriculum materials and resources to suit the needs and interests of students while adhering to educational standards and objectives.

Lab Work: Organize and supervise laboratory experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop students' practical skills in physics. Ensure safety protocols are followed during lab sessions.

Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students' progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Attend parent-teacher conferences as needed.

Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in the field of physics education through workshops, seminars, conferences, and professional literature. Continuously improve teaching methodologies and strategies.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience and support the school's mission and goals.
Qualifications:

Teaching Certification: Obtain a teaching certification or license as required by the state or country where you intend to work. This may involve completing a teacher preparation program and passing relevant exams.

Subject Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of physics concepts and principles across various subfields, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics.

Pedagogical Skills: Demonstrate effective teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and facilitate their learning. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Classroom Management: Have strong classroom management skills to create a positive and productive learning environment while maintaining discipline and order.

Technology Proficiency: Utilize technology effectively in teaching, including interactive whiteboards, educational software, simulation tools, and online resources.

Passion for Teaching: Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students succeed academically and personally in the field of physics.

Must have experience in Cambridge / IGCSE Curriculum
