- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in leading analytics and data science teams, preferably in the retail or luxury fashion industry.
- Proven expertise in establishing and building analytics across different retail functions. This will involve proposing org designs, POC ideation and implementation and strategic influencing of stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data management platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and drive results through collaboration and innovation.
- As the Director of Analytics and Data Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data consumption and analytics strategy by driving actionable insights to optimize business performance and customer satisfaction.
- The role holder will lead a current team of ~20 across Data Sciences, Marketing Measurement Acceleration and Business Analytics, based in Bangalore.
- The role will be responsible for building new capabilities across marketing technology and enhance the scope of the current teams outside the Marketing organization through stakeholder alignment.
- This role will be responsible for establishing analytics as a capability across Saks by strategically influencing stakeholders in the form of socializing use cases and proofofconcept (POC) ideas.
- Reporting directly to the VP, India operations and to VP, Analytics based in the United States, you will lead a talented team of analytics professionals and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Role Summary:
The Director, Marketing Analytics will lead corporate marketing planning and analytics for the integrated marketing team with the delivery of annual plan, quarterly planning and reporting, and daily sales and promotion analysis.
