    Description

    Skillset :

    • Lead the design and architecture of AWS Aurora PostgreSQL database solutions based on business requirements.
    • Provide expertise in data modelling, indexing, and optimization for performance and scalability.
    • Understanding of AWS Cloud design patterns.
    • Oversee and contribute to the development of database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure optimal database integration with applications.
    • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases to ensure efficient and responsive data access.
    • Analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
    • Implement and enforce security best practices for AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases.
    • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for PostgreSQL databases.
    • Implement disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime.
    • Implement and manage high availability solutions, such as streaming replication or logical replication.
    • Set up and maintain database clusters for failover and load balancing.
    • Establish monitoring systems to track database performance, availability, and health.

    Must Have :

    • Extensive experience as a AWS Aurora PostgreSQL database administrator or consultant.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/PostgreSQL.
    • Indepth knowledge of PostgreSQL features, capabilities, and best practices.
    • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
    • Familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions and additional tools.
    • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
    • Relevant certifications in PostgreSQL or related technologies are a plus.
