    Join us as a Software Engineer

    • In this role, you'll engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions

    • This position is at the associate vice president level

    What you'll do

    As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying applications that can handle and surpass expected load, performance, and availability levels. This involves tasks such as load balancing, performance testing, and benchmarking. You will collaborate with a feature team and leverage your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts, and tools that are often intricate. Additionally, you will interact with other engineers, architects, and business analysts throughout the platform. Your tasks will also involve:

    • Creating high-quality software that brings value to the organization
    • Working in dedicated teams responsible for the entire software life cycle, from initial development to maintenance and eventual replacement or decommissioning
    • Collaborating to enhance our software engineering capabilities
    • Designing, testing, and implementing functional code
    • Contributing across the entire life cycle, from analyzing requirements and designing to coding, testing, deployment, and operations

    The skills you'll need

    To succeed in this role, you should have a background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, as well as a comprehension of how your expertise area benefits our customers. You should also possess experience in test-driven development and familiarity with automated test frameworks, mocking, stubbing, and unit testing tools. It would be advantageous if you have a background in solving highly complex analytical and numerical problems. Additionally, you should have:

    • Experience working with code repositories, bug tracking tools, and wikis, as well as designing and implementing APIs
    • Proficiency in Java and Microservices development
    • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile practices and their associated tools and methodologies
    • Knowledge of relational, in-memory, distributed, and NoSQL databases
    • Experience applying programming best practices, particularly relating to scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance
