Operator who has been trained in tasks specific to the business that are mínimally transferable elsewhere.

Works under close supervision with a daily focus; some previous experience/knowledge required but with skills that are mínimally transferable elsewhere.- Independently managing the process in a shift in the respective area(s) of responsibility- Taking timely decision on the process operations to achieve optimal efficiency/conversions.- Ensure desired product quality specification in a shift- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the plant and adherence to the Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and Policies.- Lead the team and supervise the shopfloor activities in absence of Team Leader.- Controlling the process using DCS control system, process chemistry, safety aspects.- To manage operating and running the equipments like Glass lined reactors, filters, vacuum pumps, Dryers, pumps, Hoists etc.- To ensure controlling the utilities system like cooling water, chilled water, steam, compressed air, LPG, Power, DM water, Raw water, Nitrogen, etc.

Optimize the consumption of utility and other consumables to manage costs within control.- To manage operation of dispensing of raw materials, batch loading & unloading, Dryer loading and unloading, packaging, etc.- Lead and maintain desired housekeeping standards in the respective area(s) of operation.

Manage spill controls as per the spill control procedures.- Ensure implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures.- Manage minor maintenance activity like attending leakages, opening the filters for cleaning and minor electrical maintenance for optimal efficiency.- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for rectification for any- breakdown in the plant and machinery- Arranging issue of materials thru' stores and optimize consumption of raw materials and consumables.- Support all audit inspections & ensure optimum compliance- To perform other responsibilities as required time to time for the business.- Knowledge or exposure of incineration system, bag Plant, Waste heat recovery boiler- Ensure awareness of significant environmental aspects and OH&S hazards related to own area of work and all reporting team members- Ensure awareness of control measures against the significant environmental aspects and OH&S hazards related to own area of work including reporting team members.- Ensure that the control measures against the significant environmental aspects and OH&S hazards are implemented/ complied with.- Ensure that the requirements of Integrated Management System related to own area of work is implemented.
