Description
The Trainer is responsible for contributing to cross-functional training team to help successfully launch a strategic initiative. Interacts closely with internal staff and external partners, as needed, to effectively balance multiple content development workstreams.

Develop detailed training project and content documentation to include requirements - training plans, training schedules, status reports / communications, lesson plans, learning materials, and work trackers.


What you will do

  • Designing, developing, and presenting training programs that educate employees on best practices or procedures.
  • Manage training and budget in interactions with key stakeholders and Support logistics & delivery of training for endusers during training deployment.
  • Manage the development and implementation of training programs for the product and impacted end users.
  • Review final QB Product training for identified accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to identify the issues in the training and bring them to resolution
  • Support storing and maintaining learning content such as lesson plans, tip sheets, exercise booklets, user guides, etc.
  • Ensure all materials for each course are ready for scheduled classes
  • Require use of PowerPoint presentations, classroom training and one on one tutoring with new employees.

Role Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Graduate with 36 years of relevant experience in technical/product training
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable talking in front of a group as well as oneonone with an individual
  • Able to give and receive feedback effectively
  • Can drive understanding (i.e., using visual aids, able to recognize when a group or individual is lost and needs more attention)
  • Ability to follow up
  • Proven people skills
  • Demonstrates a positive "can do" demeanour and has fun and gains energy from working with others
  • Is an active listener
  • Is a technical expert
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently function at 100% of expectations
