    Senior SAP MM Functional consultant -Job Description

    A SAP MM (Materials Management) Functional Consultant with 8-10 years of experience typically possesses advanced expertise in managing procurement processes, inventory management, and integration with other SAP modules such as FICO (Finance and Controlling) and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). Here's a breakdown of the key qualifications and responsibilities for such a role:

    SAP MM Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP MM module, including configuration, customization, and implementation of various procurement processes such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inventory management, and invoice verification.

    Integration with Procurement and FICO Modules: Proficiency in integrating SAP MM with other modules like Procurement and FICO. This includes understanding end-to-end procurement processes, financial impacts, and data flow between modules for seamless business operations and reporting.

    FICO Integration: Understanding of how MM processes affect financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) within SAP FICO module. This involves knowledge of account determination, cost center allocation, and material valuation methods.

    Extended Warehouse Management (EWM): Familiarity with EWM module and its integration with MM for advanced warehouse processes such as inbound/outbound logistics, storage bin management, and warehouse monitoring. Although not as common as MM, proficiency in EWM adds value, especially in industries with complex logistics requirements.
