The Service Company Controller & Allocations organization ensures a strong CFO operating, control and governance model across the Service Cos and ensures clear and consistent clarity of corporate function allocations, and the interplay between divisions, legal entities and the Service Cos.

Legal Entity Cost Allocation and Reporting is an important part of SCA


The objective of LECAR (Legal Entity Cost Allocation and Reporting) team in the analytics, automation & transformational responsibility is to bridge gaps between the current reporting and build new quicker comprehensive reporting platform meeting the internal stakeholder requirementAs a Controller, you will closely work with SCA Internal teams and the IT teams.

This will involve building comprehensive detailed process documents, design documents, process maps and build out of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the business users and process owners on the process and write a detailed BDR's and FRD's of the process current & controls currently asis in process to translate requirements to the IT team
  • Analyzing complex business operations and think out of the box solutions to align new ways of automated/ semiautomated reporting
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams on various inputs and mapping required to build the report
  • Gathering and documentation of system, business/functional requirements, and processes
  • Design, syndication, and implementation of the guidance document
  • Design and build Innovation tools (e.g., Macros, Queries, and Qlik Dashboards etc.)
  • Collaboration with IT and business partners and work closely on development of reporting framework in CS reporting portal
  • EUT Testing and Prepare detailed notes and documentation based on the discussion with the team
  • Ensuring detailed project parameters are built and agreed on the needs and expectations
  • Stakeholder management and coordination
  • Strong knowledge in tools like MS Office
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Qlik is a must, Alteryx, Power BI, VBA knowledge is desirable

The Controller will be part of Innovation & Change team, working alongside the SCA Finance team including allocations, change and reporting and analytics, IT & Change and the GF Allocation Reporting team consist of colleagues in multiple global locations including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Poland, India, and Singapore.

The program is a critical program for CS given the nature of the work and change requirements. As a result, internal collaborators are expected to be demanding and require accurate data/ clear messages/ tactful negotiation/ documentation/ Time bound results

Your skills and experience

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is a must. Qualified MBA or Computer Science graduate is preferred with an understanding of accounting or financial data
  • Critical out of the box thinker with capabilities to independently work with little oversight.
  • Knowledge of project management, cost allocation processes and Outsourcing Relationships
  • Experience with producing BRDs and FRDs by working closely with Non-IT SMEs
  • Strong knowledge in tools like MS Office
  • Word, Excel, Macros, PowerPoint and Qlik is essential
  • Minimum 810 years of proven experience

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge in tools like Qlik,Alteryx, Power BI, VBA is desirable
  • Proven ability to work independently with mínimal direct supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with commitment to ongoing learning and sharing knowledge.
