Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
Chemical Synthesis & Application/ Formulation Development -Water R&D
Key Individual Accountabilities
Capability to record and interpret experimental results and should be able to analyse data from characterized samples
Development of products/formulations using Chlorine, HCl, Caustic Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide, Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA), Sodium Hypochlorite etc
Understand the products in the market and develop them
Support in developing products as per customer requirement
Ensures safety at the workplace
Adhere to company policies & protocols in the workplace

Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge
Basic understanding of water & wastewater characteristics/test parameters & test methodologies
Have an exposure to Water & Wastewater Treatment methodologies/Plants

EDUCATION:

Preferably a Masters in Chemistry with 4-7 years of experience or Doctorate in Chemistry/ chemical engineering in - 2 years of experience.

Key Performance Indicators
He/ She should be able to design and perform multi-step synthesis both for organic & inorganic chemistry
Writing and maintaining record-books and project reports.
Must have experience in handling laboratory equipment Jar test apparatus, BOD / COD Analyser, Karl Fischer Auto-titrator, UV visible, FTIR spectrometers, particle size analyser, Thermogravimetric analyser, Differential Scanning calorimetry equipment, HPLC, GC etc
