Job Purpose:

i)Meet Monthly Indian Exports sales plan by playing Consolidation Logistics role

ii)Optimize efforts for entire planning & logistics Cycle

iii) Improve profitability of the logistics & in turn of the Organization


Responsibilities:


Primary

  • Prepare pre shipment and post shipment documents.
  • Handling Consolidation shipment for Exports.
  • Coordinate with Purchasers, Suppliers Accounts, Manage Material logistics, warehouse, CHA & International Export Logistics till Shipment & doc phase.
  • Role of customer services towards Internal Organization (Sales & Department head) & External Customers proving Shipment information update.
  • Generating & circulating weekly, monthly consolidation shipment related reports.
  • Ensure to mitigate by acting & resolving any causes delaying the shipment executing & timely bringing to the notice of HOD.
  • Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirement, packing specifications and compliance with international countries regulations & requirements.
  • Assist, Department Managers into obtaining necessary approvals in accordance with the relevant procedures and legal regulations.
  • Handling Letter of Credit, Bill of Lading, Preshipment and post shipment documents and timely submission of documents in bank.
  • Ensure by coordinating with Purchasing team that critical doc are received from suppliers like Proforma Invoice, Product MSDS, TDS and IIP certificate (UN Norms), COA and dispatched documents.
  • To ensure hazardous material Standard norms are followed.
  • Negotiation with Freight forwarders, Direct shipping lines & CHA for freight & Customs clearance of Shipments.
  • Timely updating export shipments register.
  • Coordinating with ECGC.
  • Coordinating & Submitting Purchase, sales invoices timely to Accounts for GST.
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO 9001 requirements during document preparation & tracking documentation for Audit trail.
  • To carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Add on - Customs / Chamber of Commerce/ impex mgt - Certificate course


ii)Experience - Minimum 2 to 4 years hands on working Experience, handling cross trade exports shipments product Exports out of India.


iii)Languages - Marathi / Hindi & written communication fluency in English.


iv)Knowledge & understanding
a)
Legal & Compliance - Indian Customs, excise relevant laws, DGFT relevant benefits idea (basis Understanding). INCO TERMS up to latest Version.


b)
Operational:

  • Customs Clearing norms, cargo stuffing norms for Consolidation.
Shipping line norms for LCL & FCL Consolidation via Customs Bonded & non bonded warehouses. All relevant documentation generation skills


c) Commercial - Cost idea at each stage - Local cargo Transportation, Custom Clearance, Shipping line Costs & any other relevant costs.


d) Communication - CHA, Supplier, Transporter, Customs, Excise


e) Positive & challenge accepting mindset, Team man / woman as this role requires working with team & coordination with internal & external agencies significantly.


Relevant Industry Experience - Food or Chemical Product Manufacturing / trading Exporting company in Chemicals, food industry


Age Bracket - Between 28-35 Range

Preferably from Mumbai and /or at least living in western suburbs of Mumbai.

(Andheri, Bandra, Borivali, Goregaon, Jogeshwari, Juhu, Kandivali, Khar, Malad, Santa Cruz & Vile Parle). Should be able to reach office in 30-35 Min.
