    Description

    Lead, US Taxation (Corporate Federal, State & Local Tax)



    Brief Role Overview:
    - Responsible for end-to-end preparation and review of company federal tax returns
    - Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax forms
    - Collaborate with external Auditor for reviews
    - Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

    Experience: 5 - 8 Years
    Relevant experience: 3 - 5 years in US taxation (1120), company federal, State & Local tax returns, US GAAP Accounting and group audit
    Qualifications: CPA (Good to have)
    Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Model)

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Independently prepare and review company federal tax returns
    • Ensure accurate filing of income tax returns and business-related filings
    • Prepare work papers for Federal & State Taxable Income
    • Implement process improvement in tax procedures
    • Develop strategic tax planning for federal and state taxes
    • Manage IRS income tax audits and stay updated on tax law developments
    • Review tax returns and projections
    • Streamline integration with finance function and audits
    • Handle ad hoc requests and provide analysis and comments

    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Experience in preparing work papers for tax calculation
    • Excellent communication skills and team coaching abilities
    • Self-driven with a strong work ethic
    • High integrity, attention to detail, and cost-saving mindset
    • Knowledge of NetSuite & MS Office
