    Description

    As a BIM Engineer you will be responsible forsupporting the model development and maintenance of accurate andcoordinated Building Information Models (BIM) for our projects. Youwill collaborate closely with senior BIM Engineer Coordinator BIMManager and other project teams to ensure the successful deliveryof BIM deliverables.

    Theideal candidate possesses experience in creating 3D models usingBIM software such as Revit AutoCAD or ArchiCAD. Attention to detailtechnical proficiency and the ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment are important. They should have strong problemsolvingskills and be able to interpret design documents and specificationsaccurately. Familiarity with BIM standards and a willingness tolearn and adapt to new software and technologies is desirable.

    KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

    BIM Modeling:

    • Assist in developing 3D BIM modelsusing industrystandard software such as Revit.
    • Collaborate with the BIM team to ensureaccurate and coordinated BIM models.
    • Incorporate design changes into the BIM modelsas directed by senior team members.
    • Followestablished BIM standards protocols and best practices.

    DrawingExtraction:

    • Supportthe extraction of 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness ofextracted drawings and associated documentation.
    • Assist in organizing and maintaining the BIMlibrary ensuring uptodate BIM components and families.

    Clash Detection andCoordination:

    • Assistin resolving clashes by coordinating with other disciplines andmaking necessary adjustments to the BIM models.
    • Document clash reports and communicatefindings to senior team members.

    Collaboration andCommunication:

    • Communicateprogress challenges and updates to senior team members.
    • Attend coordination meetings and provide inputon BIMrelated matters.
    • Perform visual reviewto capture model inconsistencies.

    ProfessionalDevelopment:

    • Seekopportunities for continuous learning and improvement in BIMmodeling techniques and software.
    • Stay updatedwith the latest advancements in BIM technology and industry trends.
    • Actively participate in training anddevelopment programs provided by the company.

    QUALIFICATIONSTANDARDS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 2 years experience inDeveloping complex Building Information Models (BIM) for largescaleprojects preferably Middle EastProjects
    • Proficiency in BIM software such asRevit AutoCAD or ArchiCAD.
    • Solid understandingof Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles and processes.
    • Ability to create and modify 3D models basedon design documents and specifications.
    • Strongattention to detail and ability to interpret complex architecturaland engineering drawings.
    • Good problemsolvingskills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Knowledge of BIM standards and willingness toadapt to new software and technologies.
