    Description

    Overview:

    TheStorekeeper cum Dispatch of Machine and Spares plays a crucial rolein managing the inventory of machinery and spare parts as well ascoordinating the dispatch of these items. They ensure that allmaterials are stored safely and efficiently and oversee the timelydispatch of products to customers and other departments within theorganization. This role is vital in maintaining smooth operationsand ensuring customer satisfaction through timely delivery ofmachine and spare parts.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Receive inspect andstore incoming machinery and spare parts
    • Keepdetailed records of inventory levels including stock counts andadjustments
    • Coordinate with suppliers andinternal teams for timely delivery and receipt ofmaterials
    • Prepare and pack orders for dispatchaccurately and efficiently
    • Coordinate dispatchlogistics including arranging transportation anddocumentation
    • Monitor stock levels and initiaterequisitions to replenish inventory asneeded
    • Ensure adherence to safety and qualitystandards in storage and dispatchprocesses
    • Operate forklifts and other warehouseequipment safely and efficiently
    • Conductregular stock audits and report anydiscrepancies
    • Maintain a clean and organizedwarehouse environment
    • Assist in theidentification and procurement of required spareparts
    • Provide technical assistance andinformation on machinery and spare parts asneeded
    • Collaborate with other departments tofulfill internal material requests
    • Resolve anyissues or discrepancies related to inventory ordispatch

    RequiredQualifications:

    • High school diplomaor equivalent
    • Proven experience in storekeepingand inventory control
    • Knowledge of warehouseand inventory management principles
    • Ability tooperate forklifts and other warehousemachinery
    • Strong organizational andmultitasking skills
    • Excellent attention todetail and accuracy
    • Good physical condition formanual handling of heavy items
    • Ability to workindependently as well as part of ateam
    • Proficiency in basic computer applicationsfor inventory management
    • Understanding oftechnical aspects of machinery and spareparts
    • Effective communication and coordinationabilities
    • Familiarity with safety and qualitystandards for warehouseoperations
    • Problemsolving and decisionmakingskills
    • Flexibility to work in shifts asrequired
    • Knowledge of dispatch documentationand procedures
