Description
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team.

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that GeekyAnts operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including Corporate Law and Labour Law.

This role will involve working closely with various departments to identify potential compliance risks and implement effective controls to mitigate these risks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain companywide compliance programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with Corporate Law, Labour Law, and other relevant regulations.
  • Monitor changes to relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure the organization is updated accordingly.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to various departments in understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs for employees wherever required.
  • Conduct or oversee internal investigations of compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with legal, HR, and other departments to address compliancerelated matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory agencies as required
  • Develop relationships with regulatory authorities and stay abreast of new and emerging compliance trends.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Company Secretary (CS) or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 35 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the software/IT industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices, including Corporate Law and Labour Law.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify compliance risks and develop effective controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Educational Qualifications

Company Secretary (CS) or equivalent qualification.


Pay:
₹296, ₹686,270.69 per year

  • Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Compliance management: 5 years (preferred)
