    Position: Senior Data Engineer

    Location: Bangalore

    Type: Full-Time

    Experience Level: 4.5+ years

    Job Description:

    We're building a high-performing data team and searching for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to join us You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring a steady flow of clean, high-quality data for analytics and reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, maintain, and optimize efficient, reusable, and scalable data pipelines.
    • Partner with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and design optimal solutions.
    • Design, implement, and manage data pipelines to ingest data from various sources into our data lake and data warehouse.
    • Implement robust data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment processes to ensure data quality.
    • Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for peak performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Champion data security best practices and integrate data protection measures within pipelines.
    • Troubleshoot and debug data pipelines, identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve data quality issues.
    • Advocate for and contribute to improvements in the data engineering process.

    Attributes & Qualifications:

    Technical Skills:

    • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
    • Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
    • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, PySpark) is a plus.
    • Experience with cloud platforms for data engineering (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
    • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi) is a plus.
    • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks is a plus.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is required.

    Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Passion for data and a continuous learning mindset.
