    Job Title : Automation Tester - Cypress & JavaScript

    Location : Bangalore, India (On-site)

    Job Description :


    As an Automation Tester specializing in Cypress and JavaScript, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

    You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript frameworks.

    Your primary objective will be to streamline the testing process, enhance test coverage, and identify and resolve any issues or bugs :


    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript for web applications.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Execute test cases, analyze test results, and report defects effectively.
    • Work closely with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues identified during testing.
    • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to automation testing.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
    Qualifications :


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.
    • Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using Cypress framework.
    • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
    Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

    • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • ISTQB or other relevant certifications (optional but preferred).
