The Studio Manager will guide and manage the studio team across digital and print production, as well as manage freelancers.
The Studio Manager manages the collboration of the Studio resources with delivery, account, creative, and resource management on production projects and workflow.
The Studio Manager will provide final proof and sign-off on all released items including type, art, layout, program, and mechanical.
- Responsible for job intake and ensuring quality, timeliness and overall client satisfaction.- Determines job requirements, communicate priorities, adjusts production plans, and communicates with internal customers on day-to-day production.- Creates schedules to meet client deadlines and keeps team on target with schedules.- Defines staffing levels and resources required and communicates needs or exceptions for all agency design work.- Arranges intra-and inter-departmental help to maximize the utilization of department resources.- Analyzes client materials, documents, and files and resolves problems and or questions prior to production.- Develops work assignments in conformance with established priorities.- Monitors the production of all jobs, ensuring priorities are consistent with commitments and production decisions are cost effective to achieve results.- Assists management in the identification of equipment, process and personnel barriers to achieve goals and targeted results.- Develops and maintains accurate records of all client materials and files.- Responds directly to customer queries and manufacturing areas as required.- Engages other within the Design and Production teams to cohesively complete assignments, focusing on a shared purposeon the excellence in delivery.
