    Job Title: Chief DataOfficer

    Location: Chennai India

    Our client is one of thelargest US based mutual life insurance company committed toinnovation and customer satisfaction seeking a dynamic CDO to leaddata strategy and initiatives function.

    PositionOverview:

    As the Chief Data Officeryou will be responsible for driving our data strategy to enhancebusiness performance and operational efficiency. You will overseeall aspects of data management analytics governance and innovation.The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strongbackground in data management analytics and leadership with a focuson mentoring analytics and data science teams in developingpredictive solutions and business insights.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy alignedwith business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead the design and implementation of data governanceframeworks policies and procedures to ensure data quality integrityprivacy and security.
    • Mentor analytics anddata science teams to develop predictive solutions and insightsthat inform business strategy and drive operationalefficiency.
    • Drive datadriven decisionmaking byproviding insights and analytics to support strategic initiativesacross the organization.
    • Collaborate withbusiness leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data tooptimize processes improve customer experience and drive revenuegrowth.
    • Oversee the development andmaintenance of data infrastructure including data warehouses datalakes and analytics platforms.
    • Lead thedevelopment of innovative datadriven solutions to address businesschallenges and opportunities.
    • Stay abreast ofindustry trends emerging technologies and best practices in datamanagement and analytics.
    • Champion diversityand inclusion initiatives within the organization promoting aculture of belonging and respect for all employees.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceInformation Systems or a related field; advanced degreepreferred.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experiencein data management analytics and leadership roles with a focus onmentoring analytics and data science teams in developing predictivesolutions and business insights.
    • Proven trackrecord of developing and implementing data strategies that drivebusiness value and competitive advantage.
    • Strong understanding of data governance privacy andsecurity principles and regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
    • Experience working in the insurance industry or financialservices sector preferred.
    • Excellentleadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire andmotivate teams.
    • Demonstrated commitment topromoting diversity equity and inclusion in theworkplace.
