    Description

    Energy, Siemens LimitedIndia is seeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated individual tojoin the Gas Turbine R&D, Gurgaon as Gas Turbine Modernization andTechnical Service Contract Engineer. This position provides an excitingopportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, global product development &service environment. This individual will be part of the global NegotiationEngineering team to provide technical support for bids on Large Gas Turbines(LGT) by defining technical scope, risks, and performance evaluations tied toservice programs.

  • Creation of technical documentation and offers for gas turbinemodernizations, upgrades and Service Program during service bid preparation, tosupport Marketing.
  • Evaluate and optimize the scope of modifications and serviceprogram bids with marketing and the component specialists.
  • Evaluation of feasibility of requested concept
  • Technical description of the requested upgrade and/or serviceprogram with corresponding upgrade scope, guarantees, expected scrap, Life andOperational risk.
  • Providing technical expertise to support active proposal andnegotiations.
  • Representing the technical negotiation team in the managementreview meeting.
  • Supporting marketing/sales in customer meetings.
  • Communication of market requirements to Technical Integrators andService Frame Owners.
  • Run performance models to evaluate impact of potential upgrades onLarge Gas Turbine
  • Coordinate evaluation of upgrade impact on overall plant.

    • We don't need superheroes, just super minds:

    ·Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, Materials orAerospace Engineering from recognized university.

    ·Working Experience: 6+ years of experience in gas turbine, aerospace,or equivalent field.

    ·Tools and Software: Advanced skills in MS-Office, SAP, Teamcenterand PCM documentation

    ·Product knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of Gas Turbinedesign, operation and Maintenance concepts including thermodynamicunderstanding.

    ·System knowledge - working knowledge about total power plantfunctionality

    ·Teamwork skills - Be comfortable working with colleagues inmultiple time zones in a team and/or to lead an expert team to answer technicalquestions and to perform risk assessments.

    ·Networking skills - Ability to establish relationships and buildnetworks in a global team setup and interface with the service engineeringcomponent groups, other engineering groups (generator, steam turbine, BOP,I&C) and marketing groups

    ·Communication: Very good verbal, written and virtual communicationskill.
