    Description

    The Manager – Direct Taxation will support in managing processes for direct Tax/income tax including direct tax/income tax planning, income tax accounting, income tax compliance and income tax audit.

    Responsibilities

    A. Domestic taxation

    ● Preparing advance tax and tax provision working on quarterly basis

    ● Regular advisory of TDS/TCS related matters to business units and ensuring TDS/TCS related

    compliances e.g. monthly payment of TDS, TDS returns etc.

    ● Analyzing the tax implications on various transactions and preparing note for internal advisory from

    direct tax perspective.

    ● Handling of TDS and Tax Audit of companies.

    ● Preparation of Computation and filing of income tax returns of company/PF trusts/Gratuity trusts.

    ● Filing of Specified financials transaction return and equalisation levy return.

    ● Transfer pricing Compliances – Collating the data for transfer pricing audit and coordination with

    transfer pricing auditor for transfer pricing compliance of Form-3CEB and preparation of Transfer

    pricing study report.

    ● Annual compliance of Master File and CBCR return filing.

    ● Drafting of replies /submission for notices/regular assessment, transfer pricing assessment and

    appeal proceedings and coordinating to consultants or lawyers time to time.

    B. Transfer Pricing and International taxation

    ● Handling of foreign remittance related compliance- Form-15CA, TDS notices and regular advisory

    on TDS on foreign payments.

    ● Advise the business team in determining /resetting the pricing of transactions between the

    associated enterprises having regard to the Arm's Length principle of India and respective

    jurisdiction.

    ● Verifying the tax computation/returns of foreign subsidiary companies and branch and preparing

    MIS for the same.

    ● Ensuring Transfer pricing compliance of foreign subsidiary companies and branch including

    verification of the TP study report prepared by the consultant including compliance of Master File

    and CBCR.

    Qualifications

    • Chartered Accountant
    • 5+ years' of experience of professional tax experience
    • Strong communication and analytical skills
