    Description

    JobDescription:1.Undergo training on all aspects of Operations andMaintenance2.During training period the Apprentice engineer will be given anumber of tests both theoretical and practical to measure histraining. The Apprentice Engineer is expected to score 100 % on allthe tests by the end of hisApprenticeship.3.Operate the plant under supervision of the Operations Manager andO&MEngineers4.Maintain the plant under supervision of the Maintenance Manager andO&MEngineers5. Carryout maintenance work orders both preventive and correctivemaintenance6.Operate the plant according to the Standard OperatingProcedures7. WriteWork Orders based on needed maintenancework8. Keep allrequired logs9.Document all maintenancework10. Work withthe MP2 computerized maintenance management systemsoftware11.Routinely monitor all plant equipment including at theHeadworks12. Workon any specified task assigned by theSupervisors13. Thework schedule shall be as determined by the PlantManagement.14. TheApprentice Engineer is expected to be flexible in his work hoursand days.


    FunctionalKnowledge andAptitude:

    1. CANDO attitude.2. Isnot averse to being handson with physical activity and gettingdirty.3.Technologically literate with strong computer skills includingfamiliarity with technicalsoftware.4. Goodoral and written communicationskills.4. BasicQualifications1.Nepali Citizen2.Graduation not before20213. Graduationfrom Nepali University or Accredited ForeignUniversity4.bachelor s degree of Engineering in any of the followingDisciplinesa.

    ElectricalEngineering5. FirstDivision or Above in Aggregatescore6. Candidatescoring to be based on the following weightage. GPA scores to beconverted to %Scores.a. 50% TotalAggregate Scoreb.30% Mathematics Scores cumulated from all applicablesemesters.c. 20%English cumulated from all applicablesemesters.7.Priority shall be given to qualified applicants from the vicinityof the projectlocation.
