    Description
    :
    Position will be a Subject Matter expert on Software distribution & Patch Management. Hands on experience on software deployment & Patch rollout via systems Management tools like Config Mgr., Altiris or LANDesk. Troubleshoot infrastructure & client issues to ensure compliance on rollouts. Custom reporting capability is a must. Asses, Plan and upgrade systems management tool to ensure its evergreen and new features are explored.

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    Candidate with 5 Yrs. Strong experience in Software Distribution and Patch management using SCCM


    current branch / Legacy versionsExecution of Enterprise support processes including Incident Management/ Problem Management /Change Management /Service Request Management /Asset & Configuration Management 5 to 8 years' experience within engineering, building, and supporting a large heterogeneous multi-data center computing environment.

    In-depth work stream experience like Deployment, incident analysis, resolution, problem definition, analysis and resolution of Deployment failures.
    Detailed Infrastructure knowledge including Server troubleshooting, design, and implementation experience on SCCM


    current branch / Legacy versionsIn-depth understanding of all SCCM concepts like SCCM Roles, Boundary configuration, site assignment, Client installations etc.

    Awareness of recent technology changes of all System Center Products.
    Awareness of SCCM V-Next and windows 10 Servicing.


    Demonstrated proficiency with:
    Designing and Deploying Microsoft products in an Enterprise environment.

    Knowledge & worked on integrating MDT 2012 with SCCM.In-depth knowledge of SCCM client installation, software distribution, remote control, and other SCCM issues.

    Knowledge &worked on SMS/SCCM tools &utilities Day to day operational stability Ability to priorities multiple tasks.

    Scripting experience like VB Script and PowerShell etcPackaging experience should include Wise Studio, but Install Shield experience may be substituted, along with VB script and SMS packagingEvaluate alternatives for deploying and supporting applications in a managed environment.

    Experience in Security Updates Deployment using SCCM 2007/2012 and manage Patch Testing Deployments with change and Release Process.

    Software Deployment Process Knowledge on SCCM 2007/SCCM2012 and with Good knowledge on Mass Software Distribution, Collection Creation and Managing Advertisements.

    Trouble Shooting on SCCM Distribution failures and Validating Packaged Applications for Deployment Readiness.
    Ability to prepare POC , creating RFC ,Implementing Service improvements etc.
    Customer ReportingSCCM Asset Reporting and Reporting Software Usage, Maintain Deployment Calendar and License Validation process.
    In-depth knowledge on Client OS (Windows 7/8/10) and Troubleshooting.
    Responsible for escalation management, communications, and management of production system problems.
    Knowledge on other deployment tools like Altiris, LANDesk (Ivanti) will be advantage.

    Strong understanding of ITIL, specific to Change & Release managementAbility and willingness to take direction from team Lead, SDM and Client ExecutivesAbility to work in a team environmentAble to adapt to a changing technical environmentAbility to coach other members of team in their area of expertiseAbility to communicate clearly with all team members and end-usersAbility to work with a sense of urgencyCustomer facing presentation and consulting skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShellCertifications:
    ITIL Foundation (optional),Certification on Configuration Manager (Optional in case of Good knowledge)#LI-UG1You will be successful in this role if you have:

    University degree or equivalent education and experience

    • Minimum of 5 year relevant experience Excellent verbal and written communication, logical and analytical skills.
    • Strong knowledge of ITIL Modules like Incident, Change and Problem Management.
    • Ability to support multiple clients/ technologies as part of shared support delivery.
    • Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective team member.
