Job Summary:

As a Fashion Design Sampling Unit Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of our fashion products.

You will work closely with the design team to create sample garments, conduct fittings, and ensure the quality and accuracy of the final product.

This internship provides a hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fashion design and production.


Responsibilities:


Sample Creation:
Assist in creating sample garments based on design sketches and specifications.
Work with various fabrics and materials to bring design concepts to life.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure that samples align with the creative vision.


Fittings and Adjustments:
Participate in fittings to assess the fit, drape, and overall appearance of sample garments.
Make necessary adjustments to samples based on feedback from design and production teams.
Ensure that samples meet quality and design standards.


Pattern Making:
Assist in pattern making for sample garments.
Interpret design sketches and translate them into accurate patterns.
Work with pattern-making tools and software to refine patterns as needed.


Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain clear and open communication with the design team and other departments.
Collaborate with pattern makers, cutters, and sewers to streamline the sampling process.
Actively participate in design meetings and provide input on sample development.


Documentation:
Keep detailed records of sample development, including patterns, adjustments, and any changes made during the process.
Assist in creating technical specification sheets for each sample.


Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in a fashion design or related program.
  • Basic knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.

Job Types:

Salary:
₹6, ₹10,000.00 per month

  • Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
